As a school we have recently achieved Activemark Gold. This is an award which recognises our outstanding commitment to promoting the benefits of physical activity and school sport.
We have a large number of school teams, who regularly participate in tournaments. These teams include:

Yr 5/6 netball
Yr 3/4 netball
Yr 5/6 tag rugby
Yr 5/6 cricket

As a school we are regularly involved in local activities. These
Include:
Sportshall
Town sports
Football festival
A number of tournaments - football, cricket, tag rugby.
We also hold our own sporting events. Our annual sports day is held in July and all children are involved in this activity. It is a day which is enjoyed by all. Also in July we hold our 'sports presentation', where sporting achievements are recognised. It is at this time that we also present awards to our two 'sports personalities of the year'.
Swimming is important within our school. The yr 3/4 children go to Nantwich swimming baths for a session once a week for a term. Whilst the yr 5/6 children go for a session once a week for half a term. Children aim for awards and very recently four yr 3 children achieved the challenge 2 award.
